Luxury Art House

This newly remodeled home in Toscana Country Club, has incredible views, a great location, and boasts the indoor-outdoor lifestyle of the Southern California desert. What it didn’t have was a place to display artwork. Therefore, a large part of this remodel centered around eliminating any extra decorative elements and creating as many large walls spaces as possible.

The clients wanted to not only create a new home for themselves, but as part of the design process, develop an art collection centered around Modern, Pop, and Figurative Art. The hunt for each piece and the decision as to where it would go was part of the process along with the modernization of each room.

The furnishings and background materials, a combination of cool whites, and greys with warmer wood tones, were selected to act as a backdrop. The furniture is elegant, but not fussy, and comfortable so they can entertain friends and family, or simply hang out at home on a quiet night.
